Real life on the edge of Chaos. Agent 341


Just after the last equinox I discovered the C*I*A, was excited, felt deeply connected to the living soul of the earth and the active involvement in the rhythms of the year and knew: this is something I want to be part of. I joined and knew that of course I can write two transit reports, no problem! That intention has not yet manifested.

And here is my brilliant excuse:

Writers in total desperation turn to writing stories about writer's block and film producers who are out of inspiration bring out films about film producers who have run out of inspiration.

So surely, as an astrologer in an astrological crisis... what an ingenious idea! Write astrologically about an astrological crisis! HAhaheHAha!

No, really, I am not joking about the crisis, although it feels more like an exciting adventure. Here is the break down ( or build up?):

A) I have been working with affirmations for a few years now, with good intentions. I am blown away by the effectiveness. I am becoming more and more conscious of how we can manifest reality with intention. Some time in late spring it hit me...so what does that mean for me as an astrologer? How do I effect people and the world with predictive astrology? What is really happening there? Not paranoid, but interested.

B) I am becoming more and more aware that it is not enough to use astrology to point out how the old structures in the world are being challenged, how Pluto having entered Capricorn and Jupiter and Uranus opposite Saturn, all the while square the said Pluto, are going to cause shakings up of systems political, ecclesiastical, geological, etc. The astrological systems are also going through upheavals. Now I don't know what is happening Down Under, in terms of that, but here, in Germany, the "schools of astrology" are veritable cold war fronts at times. If I say I am an astrologer and they don't react alergically , expecting me to jump on a broomstick yelling hokus pokus, then they immediately ask: which school? See that is a test. With your answer you either pass or fail the test. Are you one of "us" or one of the deluded? Now, I spent most of my grown life as a clown, so I have rather unorthodox views of things at the best of times, but I truly believe these are not times for relying on "schools" of thought. Things are shifting and oh, so alive. I LOVE the idea of Anima Mundi! Are we able to listen to what is really happening with the breathing earth and cosmos right now? What does Uranus square Pluto mean this time round? Studying what it meant in the past is an important key, but what is actually going on today, this minute? Living in the now, and so amazed by it all, seeing what fits into old patterns and what is flowing in new living forms, I had the urge to stop everything, not liable for a while and just LIVE it.

C) I am 45 years old and have been going through an extraordinary spiritual awakening and deepening since I turned 40. Whoever isn't in their 40s yet, look forward to it! It is awesome! The phase I have come to now has something to do with the physician heal thyself philosophy and something to do with consciousness, but I find I cannot just go through the motions of ANYTHING. It is like an angel solemnly holding up a mirror everytime I judge others. I start feeling the deep interconnection of I and world, of I and client, and the responsibility that comes with that consciousness. Am I talking about world events, I begin to wonder, or about me? Am I egotistical to even bring myself into the picture or kidding myself if I think I can leave myself OUT of it? This used to be easier, I used to say, well, objectively speaking...and convinced myself.

D) I was told recently by friends involved in Geomancy and earth healing, here in Europe, that the sacred spots on the earth connected to the different planets are changing. The vibrational energies used to be sensed with ones solar plexus and that is shifting upward to a vibrational heart experience. They say the organ of perception for understanding the planetary powers on the earth is now the etheric heart. I have been very involved with artistic work and research connected to the development of the heart for a long time now. I feel that is what I am connected to: heart to heart astrology. Out of the heads as well and into the hearts. As an empath, this is very interesting for me as well and I wonder if Uranus dancing on the threshhold between Pisces and Aries could be part of this new birth of what?...empathy science? Thinking about that as well, leading up to the solstice. Watching and wondering.

E) I have to confess this was added to it: I am mosying along happilly in my blinkered Northern Hemisphere astrological bliss, I mean I KNOW there is another half to the earth somewhere and I theorise about it, but I have never been there and it is so hard to imagine, when I join the C*I*A and start wondering, wait a moment what does that mean on the other side of the equator. ME , DEIRDRE the wholistic, earth is a living being, we are all connected, always consider the larger picture GOODMAN had been afflicted with enormous blind spots and not even noticed it. I knew what I had learned and I use the globe to explain things about the planets and constellations, but it was like stepping out of my body and suddenly seeing my whole self, including my back. Something that I had actually been working on for a few years now, about the life forces that surge up out of the earth on one side while summer is there and draw into the earth on the other where it is winter, took life. I could connect to the astrolgical vibrations effecting the earth in connection to the year and see the Taurus energy is something living that effects the movement of plant life out of the earth on one side and into it on the other. I could hear what that sounds like, then adding the planetary configuratuions, and, wow.

Right on top of this an astrologer friend of mine was also going through a rearranging of beliefs in terms of astrology. He asked me, dispondantly, how can astrology be usable if so many astrologers differ completely in opinion in so many aspects of it. I realised, we have maybe come too far away from the source, the earth and the year, space and time and movement. I decided I need to go back to basics, which also meant, live, experience, observe.

So, dear co-agents and whoever else reads it, this is my excuse for not writing anything worth while yet. I can work with groups of people and one on one because that is then an alive happening that they are involved with, and the results are exciting, but as soon as theory is needed, I am side stepping, humming and hawing. I feel like an expert gardener who doesn't want to come to the garden with my theories of it, my thesis. I want to roll up my sleaves and say, ok what do we have here and head off exploring...and mostly, MOSTLY, I want to celebrate the garden with all that I understand and all that is a mystery. This equinox, I will be having an intention ceremony and a CELBRATION! Happy Libra, everyone.

21st August 2010 - Who will win? A Female in da House? -


When considering who will win an election by using astrology many variations and techniques can be used. There is no particlular right or wrong way, but is solely up the the astrologer looking at the charts as to how a win will be determined. My own take, the way I look at charts, read outcomes and make judgements, comes from a variety of techniques that I've learnt and adapted too, but mainly from what I sense overall when weighing up the odds, positive, negative, changeable, static or impossible to tell. Being a Pisces I look at the whole moving picture of planets, I read all the signs and symbols available and activated in any given chart, in this case to sense an outcome.

When Australia last went to the polls back in November 2007, after 11 years of a Howard goverment many Australians were itching for change. We celebrated big time when Kevin Rudd won, we'd had enough of little Johnny Howard. Mr Leo passed the baton to Mr Virgo.and Ms Libra- Julia Gillard was next on the PM agenda, already at this post for the last 2 months, we all ask will her reign continue?

On election day back in 2007, Uranus- Agent of change stationed direct and was a hopeful sign of a shift to occur, from the old goverment to a new one. Barack Obama was elected during the first Saturn - Uranus (back in 2008) opposition of the series which has just recently finished, just before Pluto moved into Capricorn and his CHANGE campaign proved to be a winner. I remember looking at the chart for Washington DC for that election date, Scorpio was rising and Uranus was in the 4th house, change seemed inevitable for the US and the first Afro- American president, simple yet significant examples of what was brewing on those days of change.


One of the traditional ways to look at what's in the air for a nation's year ahead, is to look at the Aries ingress chart, set for the capital of the year in question. When we consider the charts for the Aries Ingress 2010, we already knew it would be an election year. Neptune rises and is the only angular planet, angular meaning a planet that conjuncts an angle being the Ascendant, Descendant, MC or IC, for Canberra 201o, so with Neptune we can see something fishy is brewing, but never exactly what? Pallas Athena - Goddess of strategy and diplomacy, the Goddess known for playing in the world of men, advising them on strategies and warfare, a cool headed female sits at the midheaven retrograde in Scorpio. Pluto and Ceres conjunct in the 11th the house and the Moon in the 4th is strong in Taurus, the feminine archetypes seem to be very prominent.

When we consider the Cancer Ingress chart as the next cardinal ingress and the one closest to but before the election date, Neptune rises again and is also the only angular major planet. Moon in Libra moves to conjuct a retrograde Pallas Athena, indicative of restlessness and uncertainty felt by the people, the Moon moves to aspect the Sun (the planet of leaders) by trine and does Ceres command more power than Pluto here as she conjuncts the Galactic center? Something is brewing and let us recall that the Julia coup, overtaking the PM job from Kevin Rudd happened just after this Cancer Ingress and just before the grand cross eclipse, when Venus rose in Leo in Canberrra and we learnt that the redhead had taken control at 9:35 am 24th June in Canberra.



Now to consider the election day chart. As we can see the angles are mutable, changeable energy rises. What is the change we expect, a change from a 2 month old Labor Party PM to a Liberal Party and Tony Abbott, or the chance to vote in our first female PM. I think the latter is a bigger change to our system than voting in the Liberal Party, but we will have to wait and see. The biggest change would be to see the Greens win, but that isn't likely to happen. Australia is about to decide if they trust the Redhead or vote for the Mad Monk. The redhead by the way is unmarried, has no children, came from a modest home in the suburbs of Melbourne and oh my God, says she doesn't believe in God. How refreshing is that? Haven't we had enough of politicians, praying to God on behalf of us all as they signs, bills, pass laws and send men to war in the name of WHO? Not mention family values and fidelity and how good and gracious they all are. Tony Abbott is the opposite, he prays or is religious or something, comes from the private school elite set, is a family man(nothing wrong with that), a traditionalist a man of the past, he has no original idea in him. The day has come to ditch the many superficial values that our politicians have represented to us for way too long now, we can see straight through it, at least Ms Gillard has the guts to say it as it is, not rush off and get married or pretend all is just how it is expected to be on the home front.

The election Day chart has the Moon in the feminine sign of Capricorn opposite its place of rulership, in the 4th house. As the Moon is in detriment, many consider this a bad sign for the female, but let's look beyond these medieval superstitions. I see this as a female "in da House" - the House of Government, so dominated by males for a very long time. Uranus on the descendant angle at the time of the poles opening, 13 minutes from the begining of the zero point of Aries is a hugely significant placement for an indicator of change, and not for a very long time will we have an election with the Agent of change this close to zero Aries, unless one is called next year for some bizarre reason. Therefore Uranus is very significant here on the descendant, and Jupiter in Aries here too suggests that we are all so ready for something different and new and are ready to take on a bit of risk, the unknown, I see as being Julia Gillard and not Tony Abbott.

A very fitting conjunction of Venus and Mars highlights the day, Mars rises first, quick and eager to win the race, Venus is strong in her own sign, another bonus for the Libran woman. At the end of the day, Venus finishes on top as Mars sets before her in the evening sky, could this be another clue? Mercury stations that day too, to move retrograde for 3 weeks and is the ruler of the rising sign and the MC and closely aspects the Moon, the people align with changing direction and changing times. It's very signifcant for Mercury to station rx that day but I see it as a changeable dynamic, indicating a shift in expected direction, which of course depends what angle you look at it from, whereas I've noted, I think the Julia win is more of a significant shift for the nation than the Liberal win. The Sun opposes Neptune and Pluto is at the IC in the 4th, further indications of a transformation to the system.

What would be our greatest transformation? A female, non-God promoting Redhead elected for the first time?

Rio Tinto yesterday announced profits of A$6.3 billion for the first half of 2010,
The company’s underlying profits after tax for the first half of the year were US$5.77 billion, up 125% on the US$2.57 billion reported this time last year.
Rio’s net earnings increased 260% from US$1.62 billion last year to US$ 5.85 billion in 2010.
Now at least the Labour goverment did something about it, would the liberals? Australians should all be given shares to this booty, how would that sit with them?

Looking at the chart for Canberra after the polls close and the nation has voted, Chiron and Neptune rise and we wonder have we made the right decison? On this day Jupiter, Pluto and Saturn are exactly square each other as Saturn and Jupiter oppose at 2 degrees of the cardinal signs involved. More signs of new beginings, at 8:15 pm the three planets line up with the angles of ASC, MC and DSC. As Julia already holds the PM job, we could see her as Saturn in Libra, Pluto is the underdog climbing up from the depths trying his damned hardest to go against the exalted Saturn in Libra, Jupiter and Uranus (hope, faith and something new please) indicate perhaps the spirit of the people, they are not sure, but ready for something else and the Moon in Capricorn, not the usually comfortable place for this feminine energy, is waxing and indicates the mood of the people, they are somehow ready to give it a go.

The Sun conjuncts Uranus and the North node for Julia that day, as Neptune conjuncts her South Node. As Saturn in Libra demands fairness and equality, this could be a sure sign that the redhead is more likely to deliver this being a Libran than the religious minded Mad Monk, I put my vote and hope in a win for Julia.

However, vote Green, we need more Green, we need to be as green as we can get and if the Mad Monk gets in - I will start a plan to secede from the nation.

Super Star - Vision - Aries












On the 21st July 2010 we got news of an incredble new discovery found in the Cosmos. In a galaxy far, far away within the Tarantula Nebula 165 million light years away, in the Large Magellanic Cloud, a new star was born to human consciousness. A very big Star, an enormous star, the biggest star ever found. Named for the moment R136a1, it is a super-supergiant star and is also considered to be a very different species of star that hasn't existed in theory prior to this discovery. As the diagram above shows the dwarfing of our own Sun in comparison to this Mega Giant.

R136a1,holds 265 solar masses, it is 8,700,000 times more luminous than our Sun and is continually shedding large portions of its own mass in continual violent outbursts. It is estimated that at its birth the star held 320 solar masses and has been losing 50 solar masses every few million years. More info about the Star can be found here.


The day we heard this most incredible news is very interesting astrologically.As we were experiencing the last couple of weeks of Uranus and Jupiter in Aries, the final Saturn Uranus opposition was looming and with a Jupiter Pluto square this news was astounding, but reflected the discovery quite profoundly.

Jupiter(mega), Uranus (discovery)and Aries(new) seem to reflect the hugeness of what was found. It was found in Chile by the Very Large Telescope, which will be superseeded by an Extremely Large Telescope in a few years time.Uranus, the first planet discovered by a telescope back in 1781,has always been associated with the telescope and of course relates to anything new, or strange, or never seen before. Jupiter rules expansion and moving beyond bounds and reflects the hugeness of the find, but can also be seen as a reminder that we never know everything, never enough and that it is best to keep our minds open. As it squares Pluto it can also be a reminder how our beliefs can be so easily shattered. From the known to the unknown and not knowing what comes' next is no doubt how many of us are feeling at the moment in the heat of the cardinal T-Square.















The Sun is exalted in Aries. This star may not be a Sun as we know it,but it is certainly a mega version.Aries rules vision and sight and together with Jupiter and Uranus this discovery can be seen as a message to us all, to first of all have a vision, keep a vision, see further, see beyond and into the beginings of a new era.


The Saturn and Neptune inconjunct is there too, the real and the unreal, they make up a Yod with the SUN. The sheer scope of this new star, reminds us of creation and super consciousness. The information of how the universe is constantly being created, is burning up, dying and forming again, can be seen as a symbol to re-create what's happening down here on earth too, as old sytems are dying and burning out. Saturn and Uranus build the new, design change. Saturn Neptune and Uranus combination remind us that creating a new world, is a hard task, some things just don't seem to change, quick enough, good enough, nor fair enough.


I was intrigued after learning of the discovery, to find out if someone had projected this monsterous new star onto the ecliptic. I googled the subject as I wasn't sure how to do it myself. I found this by a blogger astrologer, calling himself Javed.


Thanks to Javed, I found out that the Star sits at 6 deg 05 Aquarius. When posting this on Facebook, many people were excited to find out where that Star fits in their astrological charts. Of course we can't tell what it means yet and what it has to do with exactly, but from it's birth, we form much of it's meaning. You would imagine, huge new beginings, or a source of amazing and incredible ideas stemming from that part of a chart, but also a point where a Huge Ego perhaps may need some bursting.

Being projected onto Aquarius by longitude, gives us some further information. It's about new beginings for Man, something is brewing and with the rest of the T-square in the background at the moment we can sense the need for designing and creating a new future. What i sense right now is frustrated change and not knowing how to proceedd, but see this as a call for "going for it". We have no choice but move on, change and create a better future for the good of all beings!

So where does 6 - 7 Aquarius sit in your Chart? Look up nations, cities, leaders and event charts, can we get an idea of super leaders, super powers, super change and who and what will most likely embody it. One correlation I noticed recently is for the USA, 7 Aquarius is on the South Node of the July 4th independence charts of 1776. Is the USA about to be re-created? well not easily as the south node suggests, but the changes are massive.


As all this is Symbolic, we look to the Sabian Symbol of this degree of the zodiac as the blogger above did, to gain a deeper sense of meaning and connection to this profound new space object. It could not be more fitting time wise, with the state of the world at the moment and the looming desire for positive change, when we see that 7 Aquarius is:


“A CHILD IS BORN OUT OF AN EGGSHELL”:


The egg, the cosmic egg, the world egg, a univesal symbol of oneness, new beginings, spring, birth. It reflects the fickleness of the global situation, implied by the delicate eggshell, what emerges from this Cosmic Egg is still unknown, but how we nuture and care for what emerges is a key.


From Lynda Hills book "The Sabian Symbols", the interpretation of this degree is:


"it signifies new ways of doing things, with new directions and new solutions. It is the desire or willingness, to find new and original paths of new emergence. There is a possibility of the unleashing of rebellious energy. Many ideas and projects will die because they don't have enough initial capital, support or dedication to last the distance."


Not sure about you, but somehow it makes me feel better about what's going on in this world today!

The home of Paolo the Octopus. The Chart of the Eclipse - Oberhausen Germany










Some interesting correlations of the 19 degree Cancer Eclipse, which occured on the 11th July 2010 and the eclipse chart for the home of where the now famous Octopus Paolo resides, Oberhausen Germany.

Famous for correctly predicting the outcome of the German soccer teams fate in the 2010 World Cup. As Germany were favourites to win all games the subaquatic sybil sensed best and constantly went against the odds to pick a winner.

The Eclipse at 19 degees happened exactly on the angle of the descendent the begining of the 7th house.The 7th House associated with competitions and sporting events!

The eclipsed Sun/Moon is in bi -quintile aspect 144 degrees to Neptune and 72 degrees quintile to Saturn. Different energies are at work here. Quintiles are a division of the circle by 5, and represent special gifts of a mercurial and venusian nature, magical and often unseen.
